Each letting agent has a different way of processing applications for rental properties. At DMW Property Services we require the following: Before applying, you must view the property in person whether this is yourself or someone on your behalf.  Once you have viewed the property you will need to call our office to register your interest.

Applying for a property

When putting your interest to apply forward for one of our properties, please prepare the following information.

How to rent: 

View the property – Ring to register your interest (We will then contact you if successful)

Pay Holding Deposit – A holding deposit equivalent to one weeks rent to be paid immediately

Submit application forms – Ensure that all the information provided is accurate and true*

Details require information like- landlord details, employer details and 3 months’ worth of bank statements.

  • Number of people moving into the property
  • Have your income details to hand
  • Have an ideal move in date in mind
  • Ensure that all the information provided is accurate and true*

  • Review: We will conduct referencing and then provide updates
  • Once successful a Tenancy Agreement and Associated documents will be sent to you.
  • Sign inventory and pay outstanding deposit and rent
  • Collect keys
  • You have 7 days to amend your inventory once signed.

Moving out of your rental property?

If you have decided you wish to vacate a property you are renting with DMW. You will be required to provide a written full months’ notice, within your rent payment date. Once confirmed, the landlord may decide to relet which means you need to ensure we can have some availability to carry out viewings. A checkout inspection will be booked with you on the last day of your tenancy with a member of our team, where will conduct a full report on the property and the full set of keys will be returned. After this, we will review the property conditions, inform you of any deductions (if applicable) and your deposit will be returned to you.
